Version 1.7+

Administrator Access

Access to wbTeamPro is limited by WHMCS Admin Roles, selected from the wbTeamPro > Configuration > General tab where you can define which WHMCS Admin Roles have standard "Admin" access or elevated "Super Admin" access.  The role of the Administrator that installed / activated wbTeamPro will be set to the Super Admin by default.

  1. Super Admin Roles
Administrators assigned to a Super Admin role will have unrestricted access the the entire project system.
  2. Admin Roles
Admins assigned to Admin Roles will have access to only those projects that are Managed by the Administrator, Assigned to the Administrator, or have been marked with the Visible Status of "All".

Client Access

Client access to client assigned projects is controled on the project level from the wbTeamPro administrative interface, structured as such:

  • Project Access
    - Senior to all other access ( Hidden or Visible )
    - This toggle is available on the "Details" tab when editing a project.

    • Action Access
      - Assigned on a per-action basis and inherited by any sub-action nodes that have not been manually assigned.  Action access can be set to either Inherit (from parent), Hidden, View, or Modify.  Milestones are limited to Hidden, View, or Modify and are Hidden by default.
      - Control of the Action Access is managed from the "Actions" tab when editing a project.
    • File Thread Access
      - Access to files is assigned on a thread level and can have either Hidden, View, or Modify access.  File threads with Modify access can be appended by the Client (uploading new files), and those files added by the Client can be edited or deleted by the client.
      - Control of the File Thread Access is managed from the "Files" tab when editing a project.
    • Discussion Thread Access
      - Access to discussions is assigned on a thread level and can have either Hidden, View, or Modify access.  Discussion threads with Modify access can be appended by the Client (adding new post), and those posts added by the Client can be edited or deleted by the client.
